Process and behind the scenes of seventh comic

I started the concept of Short stories of Leonnid somewhere in December yesteryear. Then I picked up a structure for comics,I created some characters (in fact reissued some I had had in some previous comics) and writing some storylines to follow. Also I didn't use any storyboard before,so with Short stories of Leonnid I started storyboarding a lot of stuff for the final comics.Right now I finished succesfully six comics for the concept and today I finished the paperwork for a seventh one - obvious all the mentioned comics have two pages (I personally called them limited comics with the available amount of time) and below I'm gonna show some pictures behind the scenes and even more - spoiling the name of the comic (I probably release this one by April, maybe?).

Yeah,I placed some poplars on both sides on the road where my character drives the van.My character will mention while speaking to the second individual in the van about a poplar whose name make him laugh everytime he thinks about it.I'm gonna reveal the scientific name of the poplar mentioned by Leonnid when I'll post the finished episode.

The name of seventh comic is Facts n' poplars.I already spoiled its name on the IG story,so now I'm feeling comfortable to mention it on a blog about behind the scenes.Hmm,what I'm gonna spoil next - original linework of the featured assets, storyboards of the final comics etc.I would do that next year when I got a big amount of comics from this series.

Yeah, the vehicle imagery started to play a major role within my comics.Details of steering wheels, car keys and interiors were depicted in several comics and became a standard since I started to draw cars frequently.Personally I really love the concept of the lowloader vans and my undisclosed desire to drive one and travel someday. That's why I made my character a C1 driver too.On the pictures placed above,In the first place I wanted to put accent on the poplars than Leonnid's hand on that steering wheel, but meh - my desire is to gain a good comic using storylines and pictures that come randomly while I draw the storyboard I'm gonna use next to develop the final story.I received also positive views on my comics and their process via Discord from my friends on the Captain Claw Community,I'm keeping it on...💗

And people won't care about poplars...😆💡

And a detail of my character,Leonnid. In most of the comics he will wear that red west and a light-blue shirt. That's how the painting process look - nothing different than the casual painting of a landscape. There are more facts that my readers would like to see, like the used storyboard - but at the moment stay tuned for the incoming comics.Cheers! 😀💡
